After a period of almost 4 months of scratching ass and playing poker, we decided it was about time we did another show. It just happened to be so that there still was an empty spot to fill up in Deventer. After an almost epic journey across two of Holland's fine provinces, we finally arrived at the venue. Nice place, authentic setting; you know, just the place where it all happens, or not. We were about to find out. And yes: it became a blast! The people that showed up crammed themselves up in the front and were soon destroying the place. I must admit, it wasn't the best gig we've ever played but the crowd's response made it a night to remember. Props for Checkmate, the other bands, the organisation and of course, everyone who showed up to beat their friends up in the pit. |
